Everything was excellent! Service was fantastic! We didn't have a reservation but they got us a booth pretty quick. The food was phenomenal! We had nothing left to take home. Would highly recommend! We will definitely be returning.
Checked out this place because it was nearby and the reviews were good, and it did not disappoint. It's got a nice boat theme going on with some model boats in displays throughout the restaurant. There's plenty of space, not crammed like some places. The service was very good, I was impressed with it. Ended up ordering a chicken Caesar salad and it was delicious. Would highly recommend!
My wife and I went to this restaurant on a Friday around noon for lunch. There was about a 10 minute wait for a table. We started with a Crab Dip as a appetizer, which I believe was a specialty item. Our entree's were the Louisiana Pasta and the Waldorf Steak salad. The food and service was great.
This place is a Fairfax staple and does not disappoint, I definitely recommend this restaurant. I've been goin here with my family for over 20 years, however since I moved to another state I had not come back for a long time, it has been many many years and I'm happy to say nothing has changed. It's still the same high quality, very delicious, well attended restaurant it always has been, it's a local staple for a reason. The drunken ribeye and blackened prime rib are my favorite but everything on the menu is yummy and everyone that ordered loved their food. Service was great attentive and friendly. A
Had a Great American Restaurants gift card for 100 that had been fraudulently used earlier in the year and only found out when trying to pay for our meal with the gift card. Management helped sort the situation out and thankfully honored the full amount of the card. Considering this, along with the delicious food and prompt service, it's easy to say that dining here was a wonderful experience!
Phenomenal food and even better service! We had Harrison as our waiter and he was so nice and gave great recommendations. Would definitely come back! Drinks were great as well. Loved the mango martini
We recently had lunch at one of the Great American Restaurants, Artie's, and we always leave satisfied every time we come here. The food is excellent, made with fresh ingredients, perfectly seasoned, and cooked with balanced flavors. The steaks were perfectly grilled, and the crabcake was delicious as usual. Their Lobster Bisque is one of the best in the area – a creamy soup full of lobster flavor. The service is top-notch, and our server was knowledgeable about the menu items, and his suggestions were good. We like the restaurant's classic decor with old-world charm; it enhances the dining experience.
One of the better ones of the Great American Restaurants chain I have been to. Service was good despite being a really busy day (Valentine's). Tex Mex Egg Rolls in all the restaurants of this chain are always a must as appetizers. Fire Cracker Shrimp was quite flavorful as well. I got the Crab Cake & Filet Mignon. The crab was good quality (as usual as well in this chain) and filet was cooked perfectly at medium rare. Grilled Tuna Filed Greens and the Goat Cheese Pecans salad were fresh and well seasoned. Lastly, we also ordered the Pecan Crusted Trout, sans the pecans, and as you can see it was a good, decent portion (sometime fish dishes tend to be small portions for a high price, but not here). I'll certainly be back to this place in the near future. Make sure you have a reservation as it seems to be very popular.
